As one of our modular Cabin Fitters, working at our Grangemouth Depot, you will be involved in all aspects of joinery work related to our modular accommodation units. Your main duties will include:
> Accommodation Setup: Fit out, refurbish, and repair accommodation units according to drawings and standard layouts, using hand tools, power tools, saws, and measuring instruments (training provided as necessary).
> Stock & Hire Preparation: Check stock and upcoming hires for accommodation requirements, ensuring the necessary prep and maintenance is carried out.
> On-Site Repairs & Installations: Attend breakdowns and perform on-site repairs and installations, ensuring the accommodation is ready for use.
> Demobilisations: Carry out demobilisations as required.
> Cabin Maintenance: Service, repair, and prepare cabins for hire, including tasks like painting, plumbing, joining, welding, and performing electrical checks.
> Material Handling: Pick materials as needed and assist with requisitions to ensure stock levels are maintained.
> Paperwork: Complete job sheets and other necessary documentation.
> Welding & Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks when required to ensure accommodation units meet customer specifications

To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
> Previous experience a similar role (joinery, cabin fitting, or construction) is essential.
> Joinery & Plumbing skills, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks to a high standard.
> Strong attention to detail, especially when working within tight timeframes to meet customer requirements.
> Self-Motivation with ability to work independently and take initiative, but also a strong team player.
> A valid CSCS card is desirable but not essential.
> Committed producing and maintaining high standards of workmanship in a busy and fast-paced environment.
