The School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine is looking for an Equine Veterinary Nurse to carry out nursing duties to the highest standard in accordance with hospital systems of work to ensure all animal needs are met and excellent standards are maintained within the Equine Hospital and Practice.
The post holder will provide a focus between clients, veterinary surgeons, nursing staff, and students. You will also contribute to the examination, treatment, and care of both in and out-patients to facilitate the smooth running of the Hospital and Practice.
The post holder requires RCVS Veterinary Nursing qualification and must be fully registered. You will be responsible for providing and overseeing the complete nursing care of patients within a busy hospital environment. In addition, you will be required to prioritise patient care and manage an unpredictable and high-intensity workload, problem-solving to ensure best patient care outcomes.
