Document Controller
Location: London, SE1 2AU
Salary: £30K – £35K per annum, DOE
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are an industry leader within the building services industry in the heart of London and we are now looking for a highly skilled Document Controller to join our team.
As our Document Controller you will maintain and manage electronic systems (EDMS), ensuring documents are correctly filed and easily retrievable (such as 4-Proejcts, ProjectVault, Conject, BIW, ASite, Doc Hosting and Buzzsaw).
In addition to this, as our Document Controller you will be responsible for:
1. Manage the distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally.
2. Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
3. Track and manage document versions.
4. Conduct regular audits and reviews of document control processes to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
5. Provide training and support to project teams on document control procedures and the use of document management systems.
6. Generate reports on document status, compliance, and any issues for management review.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
1. Relevant experience in document control, preferably within the construction or building services industry.
2. Proficient in using document management software and systems, as well as standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Exceptional ability to manage and organise large volumes of documents and information efficiently.
5. Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently.
