Salary: £26,800 per annum (£25,351 per annum pro-rata) plus an opportunity to earn an additional £5,200 per annum based on an average of 2 sleep-in per week
Contract/Hours: Fixed Term Contract until 06 October 2025, Part-time - 35 hours per week

About the Service
Ty Laura serves as a vital resource for families in need of respite care and supports children and young people with additional learning needs and health needs that have a daily impact on the young people's lives on a minimum of 2 nights per month basis, supporting up to 4 children a night, across 6 days a week.
We aim to provide opportunities and experiences that widen the individual's sense of belonging through our individualised support.
About the role
Qualified or currently working towards a level 3 in Health and Social Care, within this Residential Support Worker role, you'll lead a team of support workers on shift, ensuring high standards of care and personalised support for the children and young people we support.
This will include supporting in the absence of the Registered Manager or Team Leader, supervisions of staff, case managing and assisting in the development of the service.
How you'll create brighter futures
* Lead shifts with the primary aim of the provision of a high-quality service.
* Provide lead case/care planning management, including assessing, reviewing and managing risk.
* Co-ordinating responsibilities within the service, with multi-agency and producing family information, including analysis and written reports.
* Attendance at professional meetings including reviews, court work etc.
* Supervise and guide staff as required, in accordance with Action for Children policies and procedures.
Let's talk about you
* Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care children and young people (or recognised equivalent) or currently working towards.
* Experience of shift leading a team of support workers.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns as agreed via the rolling rota.
* Experience and training in safeguarding.
* Experience of developing tailored care plans.
