At Nilfisk, we are one of the UK's leading suppliers of industrial cleaning equipment, and we need someone to help us keep our clients' machines in tip-top shape. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be working on customer sites throughout Cumbria and SW Scotland, making sure that everything is running smoothly.
Your role will involve completing all repairs within contracted service level agreements, which means you'll be making follow-up calls to install additional parts, performing Portable Appliance Tests (PAT) carrying out scheduled planned maintenance services in the field and PDIs/workshop repairs at our Penrith location.
We’ll equip you with everything you need – a van, mobile phone, iPad, uniform, and even training! And the best part – you’ll only be working weekdays!
Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer include, but are not limited to:
* Always follow all workplace procedures correctly, including Health and Safety rules and technician procedures.
* Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real-time".
* Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit.
* Order parts via our central database and maintain van stock levels.
* Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to an extremely high standard.
