Chef de Partie - Botley - £26-30k + Excellent Tip Package around £8k per year
An experienced Chef de Partie is required for this amazing traditional country pub located in the countryside near Botley, Hampshire.
We are looking for someone who enjoys cooking fresh food and will take responsibility for elements of the kitchen including preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards. The pub has an established Head Chef who can guide and develop your career.
Key Information:
1. Salary: £26-30k plus excellent tip package per year around £8k
2. Hours: 5/7 days on various shifts
3. Location: Botley
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
1. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food preparation
2. Preparation of fresh quality dishes with good quality ingredients locally sourced
3. Preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards
4. Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
5. Work alongside the kitchen team
Required skills include:
1. A basic understanding of produce and ingredients
2. Experience in the kitchen
3. Basic knowledge of food production methods
4. Embrace new ideas and processes
5. Positive and approachable manner
In order to be successful, you'll need to have:
1. Experience as a Chef, working in a similar environment
2. Ability to follow instructions
3. High Standards of hygiene
