About the role
As a Client Take-On Administrator, you will be an integral member of our Global Client Take-On Team. Your primary responsibility is to support client on-boarding and ensure compliance with client due diligence (CDD) processes across multiple jurisdictions, including Jersey, Guernsey, UK, BVI, and Cayman Islands.
1. Assist with CDD inquiries and document collation for non-regulated business clients.
2. Provide support across various jurisdictional regulatory requirements related to financial crime, data protection, and confidentiality.
3. Conduct CDD collation and participate in client risk assessments by analysing complex legal entity structures to determine required CDD and communicating with clients or designated contacts to obtain necessary CDD.
4. Execute financial crime and AML risk assessment processes in alignment with Mourant's policies.
About you
1. Relevant experience working in a CDD/client take-on role within a regulated Financial Services Business or professional financial services firm.
2. Knowledge of the financial service provider industry and associated corporate and fiduciary services, including complex structures in Cayman, BVI, and HK.
3. Knowledge of financial crime regulations for law firms or regulated fiduciary and corporate services in at least one of Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman, or BVI.
4. Ability to learn and fully understand multiple and complex procedures across different jurisdiction regulatory requirements is required.
5. Emerging pragmatic and solution-oriented risk management skills to assess client risk.
6. Strong IT skills with Microsoft suite of products and ability to learn and use multiple on-boarding applications and client administration systems.
7. Process-oriented mindset to provide team and business support and quickly adapt to process changes and efficiencies is preferred.
