The aim of the role is to support learners throughout their learner journey to ensure they attain the maximum benefit from their Apprenticeship programmes both in College and the workplace.,
* Interview and advise prospective learners who express interest in joining the Apprenticeship programme via Careers Wales, open evenings and schools open days as well as Careers fairs.
* Administer the diagnostic assessment for learners that have additional learning needs and to liaise with College Support teams to ensure appropriate support is in place for all learners.
* Liaise with employers to ensure that Apprentices are appropriately placed, including use of the Apprentice Matching Service or similar.
Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Experience of working with Apprentices providing advice and guidance and liaising with appropriate external organisations.
* Knowledge and experience of effective liaisons with external support agencies.
* Experience of undertaking initial assessment of learners including essential, basic skills and skills tests
