About the role
Mrs. Alice has a constant stream of new product development throughout the year. We need someone to help get samples in on time, checked, and feedback communicated to the buying team in order to go back to the supplier. The samples will also be a record of all the incoming products, and will need to be shot, so this role also supports the creative assets of all our products and will work closely with the studio team.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
Sample management
* Working with buying to understand which samples are coming into the warehouse
* Chasing samples and when they’ll arrive
* Booking the inward freight to get the sample in, at the most efficient cost using ZenCargo or our own carrier relationships such at DHL
* Tracking costs to import samples
* Intaking the sample, inspecting and filing the details of the sample including measurements
* You will be accountable to using the Mrs. Alice’s systems such as Brightpearl to ensure inventory is tracked, received and organized.
* You will need to accurately measure the samples, care details and material, that should the product be signed off we have the relevant information in our product database
* Weekly review with ANL and the buying team on new samples that have arrived
* You will be accountable for storing samples in our Sample room, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* You will be accountable for keeping the sample organized and tracked in Brightpearl.
* You will be accountable for setting controls to ensure samples are not sold unless authorized to be.
Studio and Brand

* You will be accountable for preparing and packing the products, ensuring that everything is in place for the photoshoots, pop-ups and PR Events. This requires a detailed understanding and knowledge of Mrs.Alice products and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
* Working with studio to ensure all samples that we will go onto buy are shot in white product shoots
* When on location/on site, you will be responsible for unpacking and organizing the products. For example, on a photoshoot this will involve working closely with the team to ensure that everything is in its right place and ready for the next photoshoot.
