Position: Experienced NDT Professional – Aerospace Sector
currently seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) professional on behalf of a well-established engineering service provider operating in the aerospace and general manufacturing sectors. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with advanced inspection capabilities and a desire to work in a dynamic, high-throughput environment.
Overview of the Opportunity:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a range of advanced integrity inspections on a variety of metallic and composite parts, both prior to deployment and throughout their operational lifecycle. These inspections are conducted under strict compliance frameworks, aligning with both customer agreements and internal quality protocols.
Core Duties Include:

Carrying out a variety of NDT procedures at an intermediate to advanced level, specifically utilizing techniques such as ultrasound, radiographic review, and fluorescent-based surface crack detection methods.

Participating in day-to-day laboratory operations, including coordinating incoming and outgoing work items, documentation preparation, and contributing to a smooth production workflow.

Assisting with operational readiness by performing equipment and material audits, maintaining tooling and consumables.

Handling the logistics of test samples and components including intake, packaging, and dispatch.

Maintaining a clean, efficient, and safety-focused workspace.

Supporting skill development and cross-training initiatives within the technical team.
