Senior Digital Content Specialist About the team The Digital and Assessment Team is a dynamic, creative and friendly team whose focus is on developing innovative services for primary and secondary schools. We work in a matrix structure across many teams and job functions to create resources that really work in classrooms. Our meetings can be with suppliers, customers and colleagues across many locations globally. About the role This role involves managing content through the production process, including building and updating content, tagging metadata, and publishing to live. The role requires knowledge of systems, software, and data management, as well as product development processes. The successful candidate will need to understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and accessibility when designing and developing products. Key responsibilities - Manage content through the production process, including building and updating content, tagging metadata, and publishing to live. - Track and maintain up-to-date versions of product files on systems. - Follow product development guidelines relevant to the role, contributing to products that meet budgets and are on schedule. - Ensure appropriate level of changes are highlighted and agreed with stakeholders. - Embed key principles (e.g. accessibility, diversity, equity and inclusion) into all stages of product development. - Exercise effective judgement on when to seek support, escalating issues and concerns when appropriate. - Identify stakeholders, build relationships and manage expectations. - Comply with rights and permissions policies, evaluating and escalating risks as appropriate.
