They are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their new site in Bristol and contribute to this exciting venture.
Role Overview:
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will assist the Assistant Chief Engineer in leading a small team responsible for design and verification activities. This position involves working on innovative technologies that support clean, safe, and competitive solutions, contributing to the pathway to net zero.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead mechanical CAD design for naval power distribution equipment.
2. Manage the Product Introduction Lifecycle Management (PILM) process.
3. Ensure compliance with internal design review processes.
4. Collaborate with business and project teams to deliver cost-effective designs.
5. Ensure integration of electrical, automation, and control systems.
