As an integral member of the Client Leadership team, you will manage the delivery of client projects and campaigns.
The key distinction of this role compared to an Account Manager is the ability to act autonomously in resolving delivery challenges. Your in-depth experience with RocketMill's services will enable you to proactively recommend improvements to campaigns or suggest new service lines for consideration.
You will embody RocketMill's behaviors and serve as a role model, potentially taking on line management responsibilities for Account Executives.
This role involves briefings, internal and external communication, and reporting. To succeed, you must be highly organized, an excellent communicator, and capable of identifying and resolving delivery challenges.
You will be personally responsible for delivering a set of campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brief internal teams
2. Establish an integrated roadmap of activity
3. Maintain client status sheets
4. Ensure quality of RocketMill outputs and alignment with client briefs and strategy
5. Define and ensure teams adhere to a pre-defined communication and delivery cadence
6. Project manage the account
7. Build strong relationships with day-to-day client contacts
8. Contribute to marketing collateral
9. Support Account Director and Client Partner in client maintenance and growth
10. Contribute to new business pitches
11. Contribute to wider agency initiatives
12. Develop processes to improve efficiencies across your accounts
Essential Skills
* Previous agency experience or equivalent marketing client-side experience
* Knowledge of paid media – PPC, Paid Social, and Programmatic
* A well-rounded digital marketing skillset with a basic understanding of all channels
* Experience managing a portfolio of accounts
* First-class account management skills
* Excellent communicator, internally and externally
* Excellent multi-tasker capable of delivering in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude that energizes the team
Desirable Skills
* Experience working on new business proposals and pitches
* Knowledge of Google Analytics
* Understanding of billing, resourcing, and pipeline platforms and processes
