We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Barking. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a passion for education.
About the role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities for students.
2. Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN.
3. Help prepare teaching materials and resources, ensuring a well-organized classroom.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by promoting student participation and engagement.
5. Support the implementation of behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant - Barking you will:
1. Have a positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to work across different year groups and subjects.
2. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Have a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
5. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
