Finance Assistant - Newark - Up to £26,000
Chase & Holland are proud to be working exclusively with a market-leading company who are actively seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their growing team. This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will work closely alongside the Finance Manager, as well as being a pivotal support for all other teams within the business.

Finance Assistant Responsibilities:
1. Creating new Customer and Supplier accounts
2. Processing Sales orders
3. Raising Sales Invoices and applications for payments
4. Responsibility for credit control management and collection of customer debt
5. Uploading Invoices onto Customer Portals as required
6. Raising Purchase Orders
7. Inputting supplier invoices, validating nominal coding and matching POD's
8. Processing Bank/Cash Payments & Receipts
9. Processing of Credit Card Expenses
10. Keeping Product Costs up to Date
11. Maintaining the Sales Orders in spreadsheet
12. Dealing with enquiries both internally and externally
Required skills & experience:
1. AAT Qualified to a minimum of level 2 or willingness to work towards
2. Experience working in a varied accounts role including credit control
3. Experience using Excel and Sage
4. Ability to multi-task, think on your feet, and be self-motivated
5. Organised and methodical, with attention to detail
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Personable, friendly, and have excellent listening skills
8. Enthusiastic and hardworking attitude
