Role Overview As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate how individuals' disabilities or health conditions impact their daily working lives. You'll conduct the work capability assessment (WCA) which compiles of detailed assessments, record medical histories, and perform physical examinations. You'll then compile clear and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine benefit eligibility for ESA (Employment Support Allowance). Excellent Work Hours: Full-time Functional Assessors work 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Thorough Assessments: You will have ample time for thorough assessments, meeting clients both in person and via phone/video, demonstrating compassion and sensitivity. Candidate Requirements Qualifications: Registered with NMC or HCPC with at least 12 months of recent clinical experience gained in a broad range of adult clinical settings.
