About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and self-sufficient HR Administrator to provide essential day-to-day support to our UK HR team. This role is critical to keeping our HR operations running smoothly and will be the backbone of administrative delivery for the team.
You’ll handle everything from employee lifecycle administration and document preparation, to first-line support for managers, maintaining HR systems, and supporting core HR processes.
Role Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update HR systems and employee records
* Manage the HR inbox, responding to queries and escalating when needed
* Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other HR documentation
* Support onboarding, including right-to-work checks and inductions
* Track absence, leave and benefits administration
* Provide payroll support (new starters, changes, leavers)
* Generate HR reports and support audit or improvement projects
* Draft invite/outcome letters and meeting minutes where required
* Streamline ways of working, processes, and associated documentation to improve efficiencies and the end user experience.
* Provide accurate first-line HR advice and work with managers to shift cultural change, coaching and supporting to engender line management ownership
What you'll need:
* Previous experience in a busy HR administration role
* A continuous improvement mindset to enhance the candidate and employee experience.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel
* Experience using a HRIS system
* Excellent organisation, accuracy, and time management skills
* Confident drafting letters, following process and working independently
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and juggling priorities
