Job Title: Engineering Manager – Systems Engineering (Requirements & Acceptance)

What you’ll be doing:
\n
\n
* Lead and manage a team of 10–20 requirements and systems engineers, driving the development and management of the requirements set for the SSNA platform
\n
* Collaborate closely with the Ministry of Defence to translate their needs into a well-defined requirements set, while engaging with key stakeholders such as the Office of the Chief Engineer and engineering delivery teams
\n
* Oversee the decomposition and allocation of functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring smooth transition from user needs to equipment and supplier levels
\n
* Manage the collation of Verification and Validation (V&V) evidence within the requirements management tool (DOORS) and oversee the Acceptance process
\n
* Work in partnership with the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team to maintain alignment between the requirements set and system models, maximizing the benefits of MBSE for requirements optimization

Your skills and experiences:
\n
\n
* In-depth knowledge and expertise in Requirements Systems Engineering
\n
* A good background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
\n
* Proven experience in stakeholder management with excellent relationship-building skills
\n
* Leadership abilities or a genuine enthusiasm to transition into a leadership role after a technical career path
\n
* Familiarity with DOORS requirements management software is highly desirable
\n
