Royal Nawaab Pyramid are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (Corporate Events & Outdoor Catering) to lead our corporate and private events growth at Royal Nawaab.
This role blends client relationship management with commercial outreach, serving as the face of our brand to prospective clients and ensuring a high-end experience from first contact through to post-event follow-up.
In addition to managing inbound enquiries, the role requires proactive outreach to secure new event business, build venue relationships, and expand our footprint in the outdoor catering market.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all inbound corporate event and corporate catering enquiries
* Proactively identify and approach new corporate clients and event opportunities
* Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, event planners, and venue managers
* Liaise with outdoor venues to secure approved caterer status and generate new catering leads
* Manage the full event lifecycle from enquiry through to post-event feedback
* Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and venue showcases
* Work with the marketing team on targeted campaigns to drive bookings
* Maintain CRM records, tracking leads, proposals, bookings, and conversion rates
* Ensure all events meet the high service standards expected from the Royal Nawaab brand
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, event management, or catering sales
* A strong local network in the Greater Manchester and Cheshire hospitality/events market
* Demonstrated success in generating new business and managing high-value clients
* Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
* Flexible and confident in managing client meetings, live events, and weekend functions
* Full UK driving licence required
Compensation and Benefits
* Base Salary: £45,000–£55,000 (depending on experience and network strength)
* Performance Bonus: Up to £20,000 per year based on revenue generated from confirmed event and catering bookings
