We are currently seeking a part-time Operations Assistant to join our client's team in Grantham.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Processing customer orders through the order management system, including raising sales and factory works orders
2. Communicating with customers to confirm delivery dates
3. Creating delivery notes for completed orders
4. Coordinating with couriers and pallet haulage companies, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any issues
5. Receiving and booking in stock, following up on any delayed deliveries
6. Assisting with health and safety documentation and purchasing PPE and first aid supplies
7. Taking initiative to maintain a smooth and efficient operation
To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications and skills:
8. Excellent interpersonal skills
9. Strong numerical abilities and proficiency with data, databases, and spreadsheets
10. Exceptional attention to detail
11. Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
It would also be advantageous to have experience with order management, ERP, or MRP systems, as well as a background in an ISO 9001 accredited Engineering company.
This is a Monday - Friday role, working up to 6 hours per day
