Senior Quantity Surveyor job for national contractor covering Norfolk and Suffolk
Your new company
Our client is a national contractor who specialises inCommercial projects predominantly in the leisure, healthcare, education anddefence sectors. They work across private and public sectors and currently havea growing pipeline of works due to commence in the East of England.
Your new role
You will lead the commercial project teamassisting on all commercial aspects of the project, providing commercialsupport and maintaining commercial information, and ensuring compliance withthe contractual requirements. You will assist with monitoring contract progressagainst the agreed programmes, control costs against agreed budgets/end costforecasts, prepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts, prepare,and agree any necessary claims for reimbursements and for loss and expense andwill liaise with the customers and third parties on all commercial matters. As a senior quantity surveyor, you will be aware of any potential implicationsfor dispute resolution and also contribute to development of appropriatequality, health and safety, welfare, and risk management on site. You will provide advice to the project leadership team while ensuring commercial targets are met.
