Position: Health & Safety Manager Location: Armagh, Northern Ireland Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Must have: NEBOSH certification About the company: I’m working with a leading provider of construction services with a strong presence in the data centre sector across Europe. Currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Health & Safety Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will be based in their office in Armagh. Job Description: As a Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations on our construction sites. You will play a critical role in promoting a safe working environment, conducting risk assessments, and implementing health and safety policies. Key Responsibilities: Site Safety Management: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks. Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are adhered to by site personnel. Risk Assessments and Audits: Perform detailed risk assessments and safety audits on construction sites. Develop and implement corrective actions to address any identified safety issues. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety measures. Training and Education: Conduct health and safety training sessions for site staff and subcontractors. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters. Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with NEBOSH standards and ISO guidelines (preferred but not essential). Keep up to date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications and Experience: NEBOSH certification is required. Knowledge of ISO standards is preferred but not essential. Experience in the construction industry with on-site experience is essential. Must hold an Irish passport for ease of travel within Europe. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.
