Job Description:
* We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to lead and manage the team at a small animal veterinary practice in the Redruth area of Cornwall.
* Full-time opportunity working with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
* Practice is spacious and purpose-built with excellent facilities and equipment.
* Role would suit either a Head Vet looking for change or an experienced/senior Vet looking to step up.
* Ideally, you will already have a wealth of experience in GP practice, strong surgical and medical skills, and be able to lead, mentor, and manage a clinical team.
* Great opportunity to develop any specific interests you have, with certification encouraged and fully funded.
* CPD funding and paid RCVS and VDS memberships.
* Sought after stunning Cornwall location surrounded by wonderful scenery and some of the best beaches in the country.
* Relocation packages offered including visa sponsorship.
Person Requirements:
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
* Registered with the RCVS.
* Head Vet or experienced/senior Vet looking to step up.
* Wealth of experience in GP practice.
* Strong surgical and medical skills.
* Able to lead, mentor and manage a clinical team.
