Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support students in a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in North Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young people's learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support to teachers, assisting with lesson delivery and student engagement.
* Work with students in small groups or one-to-one to support their learning needs.
* Assist with classroom management and help create a positive learning environment.
* Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive tailored assistance.
* Contribute to the overall well-being and progress of students.
Requirements:
✔ A genuine passion for working with young people in an educational setting.
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Previous experience working with children or young people (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential.
✔ A willingness to learn and take direction from teaching staff.
✔ An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
