Hays are delighted to be supporting a public sector organisation who are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner, until March 2025, to support the business during a period of increased work. This has the potential to be extended beyond this time period. The business is looking to engage with a generalist HR professional who can cover the following duties and responsibilities: Coaching and supporting line managers with people issues Applying early intervention strategies to prevent escalation of issues Ability to manage own caseload Experience dealing with complex case work covering; long term absence, grievance, capability and gross misconduct up to dismissal Engaging with unions and maintaining positive working relations Have good systems knowledge Ability to interpret data to see trends and assist with decision making Due to the urgent nature of this vacancy, the business is looking for candidates on either a limited notice period or immediately available.
