Red Volcano is a small software company making a big impact in the AdTech industry. In this role you will be working with the CEO and Operations Manager to ensure we stay on top of a fast-moving sales and marketing process.
You will be responsible for management of the sales pipeline – from planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns, through to liaison with prospects to issue proposals and sign agreements. We work with customers worldwide and have a well-defined and successful sales process, so this role is all about making sure that everything is delivered with precision and perfect timing.
You need to have exceptional clarity in your written and verbal communications, and a real desire to see tasks through to completion. When you start with us, your first task will be to understand our technology so you can confidently talk to customers about it. Alongside this, you will be learning the sales cycle and getting to grips with the CRM and sales administration processes. Attention to detail is critical as you will need to ensure all sales prospects are managed through the process, and will be providing insight into the sales pipeline for the CEO and Operations Manager.
As you gain more experience and a better understanding of our products and services, you will get more involved in sales, market research and marketing. Depending on which parts of the job you enjoy the most, this could lead to a Business Development role where you are managing a team, or a career in sales and marketing.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in sales administration in a fast-moving environment. We’re a small company in a market that moves rapidly, so you need to be ready to change direction quickly as the requirements of the business and our customers shift. You will be spending a lot of time managing the CRM, so good working knowledge of a modern CRM system is vital (e.g. Close, Salesforce).
Red Volcano is a technology company, so you need to be comfortable with technical jargon and must have excellent IT skills (preferably in Google Suite). You will be completing market research on leads, so need to have excellent search skills on platforms like LinkedIn, and any experience in marketing and outreach campaigns is also useful.
You will mainly be working onsite in our office in central Southampton. You therefore need to have a full, unrestricted UK work permit and must be able to be in the office most days. Responsibilities:
* Aid the sales efforts with admin tasks
* Manage and maintain the CRM system
* Complete market research on leads
* Head up our LinkedIn outreach
* Increase demos booked by sales outreach marketing campaigns creation and delivery
Skills required:
* Experience with CRM systems such as Close, Salesforce, etc.
* Experience with Google Docs
* Competent IT Skills
* A good understanding of LinkedIn and other social media platforms
* Excellent attention to detail
