Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance of the machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. You will be an integral part of the engineering team, supporting the overall reliability of production lines through effective planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Carry out regular maintenance of machinery and equipment in line with the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule. Troubleshoot and repair faults and breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Perform diagnostic assessments, repairs, and installations as needed. Work closely with the production team to ensure machinery is running efficiently and effectively. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies and industry standards. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC-based systems. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various production machinery. Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Relevant qualifications in Engineering (City & Guilds, HNC, or similar). A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and continuous improvement. This role is 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts.
