Salary: GBP140-GBP160 per day

TeacherActive is honoured to be working alongside a Children's Residential Home based in Wakefield. This Residential Home provides a stable, comfortable and supportive environment for children with challenging behaviours who may need additional support.
The home is looking to employ a motivated, driven and reliable deputy manager on a long-term basis, which could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be supporting children of all ages to ensure their emotional needs are met in order for them to achieve well. The main focus of this role is to help provide quality support for children whilst reducing exclusions by creating viable alternatives. To succeed in this role, you must be patient, passionate, take pride in your work, be caring, and have the desire to help children succeed.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Level 3 Children and Young People Workforce Qualification.
2. Experience looking after children with vulnerable backgrounds.
3. Understanding the needs of children with vulnerable backgrounds.
