Overview Driver Circle Decontamination - Unit E, Stockport 26.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £24,4990.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across the Southeast of England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required. We have an opportunity for a Driver to join their team of staff in the Decontamination Unit. This is a part- time role for 26.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties Of This Role Include You provide a reliable and courteous delivery / pick-up service to CHG Hospital Decontamination customers, operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You assist the production team with a variety of supporting duties, geared to ensure a smooth production flow as requested. You perform customary daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and prepare trip, accident and incident reports as necessary. You perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary, including fueling the vehicles and ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported. You provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service. You adhere to the driver’s handbook as provided. You keep the assigned vehicle(s) appropriate for its use, including daily vehicle cleaning inside, manual clean and outside using pressure washer andor mop and bucket. You comply with all relevant mandatory training. Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria A valid driving license for the UK with a clean driving record - every employee driving on behalf of the business must submit their driving license on an annual basis for a DVLA check. You must hold a clean B license to operate vans up to and including 3.5t. A good level of general education. The ability to undertake lifting duties as required. The ability to work as a team member and to work on own initiative.
