A leading provider of innovative communication solutions, are looking for a dedicated Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to make an impact by managing key financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2. Bookkeeping & Accounts: Perform bookkeeping and reconcile purchase ledger accounts to ensure correct financial reporting.
3. Purchase Ledger Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve discrepancies to guarantee accurate product costing.
4. Multicurrency Bank Reconciliation: Conduct reconciliations for multicurrency bank accounts to ensure correct records.
5. Intercompany Transactions: Assist with intercompany transactions, invoicing, and reconciliation.
6. Month-End Processes: Contribute to month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset register (FAR) maintenance.
7. Deferred Revenue Processing: Process monthly deferred revenue and maintain relevant schedules.
8. Sales Revenue Tracking: Track and analyse weekly sales revenue, providing detailed reports and insights to the Finance Director.
9. Internal/External Audit Compliance: Adhere to internal company standards and meet audit requirements.
10. Stock & Write-Offs: Analyse stock levels, write-offs, and adjustments.
11. Credit Card Transactions: Reconcile and verify company credit card transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
12. Employee Mileage: Calculate employee business mileage and maintain records.
Skills & Experience:
1. Sage 50 Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software.
2. Strong Accounting Skills: Proven experience in managing balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and month-end processes.
3. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in managing financial records.
4. Excellent Communication: Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
5. Organized & Deadline-Oriented: Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
6. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
