SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people?
Do you have experience supporting individuals that can find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships?
In recent years, there has been a massive focus on supporting the mental health of pupils who have been impacted by adverse childhood experiences. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 basis for the rest of the Academic Year in a range of schools across Oxfordshire (with an option of progressing onto contract with the right school).
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will be involved in supporting pupils within the classroom and will also be comfortable running activities with the pupil/s outside the classroom. Alongside the class teacher, you will provide support to ensure the right assistance is in place for the students.
This position is available on a full/part-time basis, and full support and guidance will be provided. There will also be opportunities to complete additional training while in the role.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience supporting pupils in a school or alternative setting, but we will also consider candidates without this experience. This is your opportunity to secure your dream role in a school with an immediate start for December 2024.
If you are interested in this role, please apply online today.

This is a great opportunity to work flexibly to suit your lifestyle while receiving a competitive rate of pay and enjoying a high level of job satisfaction.
