Job Description:
As a Leveraged Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in originating, structuring, and executing complex leveraged finance transactions. You will work closely with clients, including private equity firms and corporations, to provide strategic advice on raising debt for leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and other high-leverage situations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of leveraged finance transactions.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including private equity firms and corporate clients.
3. Provide strategic advice on debt financing options and market conditions.
4. Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for potential transactions.
5. Collaborate with internal teams, including Debt Capital Markets, M&A, and industry groups, to deliver comprehensive financing solutions.
6. Prepare and present detailed financial models, pitch books, and transaction documentation.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
8. Mentor and develop junior team members.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
2. Extensive experience in leveraged finance, investment banking, or a related field.
3. Proven track record in originating, structuring, and executing complex transactions.
4. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
5. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
