Job Title: Paraplanner
Location: St. Matthias Halls, Wordsworth Road, London N16 8DD
Starting Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications

We are now seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our dynamic team and support our financial advisers in delivering exceptional client service.
We see the majority of our clients in person; therefore, the normal place of work will be our Stoke Newington office.
Key Responsibilities:
· Building and Maintaining relationships with clients, investment and insurance providers and our IFA and Paraplanner team
· Conducting research on financial products, investment strategies and market trends, considering regulatory changes
· Support the writing of new business and contribute to the development and rationalisation of processes
· Collating research and analysis into well-informed and well-considered client reports, applying forecasting skills and ensuring compliance and high standards at all times.
· Support the ongoing administration of the office, answering phones, replying to emails, scheduling appointments, managing incoming post
· Maintain detailed, up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of Financial Planning, Taxation and legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practices
· Work with the IFAs to ensure clarity and facilitate the smooth implementation and processing of client wishes.
· Assist and support IFAs with the preparation of annual/ongoing review of client portfolios and ensure that IFAs’ recommendations are carried out
· Undertake pre-review preparation and attend client meetings
About You (Person Specification):
* You will:
o Be an experienced Paraplanner with at least 2 years’ solid experience in a similar role.
o You will have passed at least two of the CII exams, or equivalent, and obtained or be working towards the Level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning
o Have a commitment to ethical investment and supporting our clients
o Take a values-based approach to your work and work with professional and personal integrity at all times
o Apply planning, focus and vision to your work, take responsibility and work with self-reflection and accountability, apply commercial sense and business acumen
o Work both independently and collaboratively with excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Be effective under pressure, under tight timescales, responding effectively to moving goalposts
o Have solid knowledge and understanding of the financial planning process, be competent in technical financial planning tools, financial modelling and back-office software and technically proficient in the different areas of financial planning.
