Our client are looking to hire an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Great Yarmouth. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day maintenance and inspection of site equipment, including electrical systems, air conditioning, compressors, vacuum pumps, extraction systems, and nitrogen plants. Carry out electrical fault-finding, repairs, and system installations. Plan and execute new equipment installations in line with health and safety standards. Organise and liaise with external contractors (electricians, plumbers, builders, etc.). Assist in scheduling maintenance tasks in coordination with Production and Senior Management teams. Be available for callouts outside of regular hours and during planned company shutdowns. Respond calmly and efficiently to unexpected maintenance issues.Key Skills & Experience: Electrical fault-finding and repair skills. Experience with electrical and mechanical plant maintenance. Knowledge of motors and air conditioning systems. Understanding of operations and maintenance practices. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.Desired Skills: Experience with pressure systems (compressed air, nitrogen, and vacuum). Forklift truck licence. Knowledge of environmental regulations (WEEE & Waste Control). PAT Testing certification. Familiarity with ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards. Working Hours: 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 13:30 on Fridays 37.5 hour week Overtime AvailableSalary: Up to £38,000 base salary Overtime is available between 1.5x - 2x the rate
