Job Title: Science Teacher
Due to the expansion of the school, the governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, energetic, enthusiastic, and inspirational teacher with a passion for all aspects of Science to join this core department.
Worden is a small but oversubscribed school, and this position would suit an experienced teacher seeking a new challenge.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Science and the department to develop independent learning, thinking, literacy, numeracy, reading, and a love of Science to maintain high standards and drive further improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
* Degree in a relevant subject.
* PGCE or equivalent.
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or ability to work in secondary schools (QTLS).
Desirable:
* Recent subject-related Inset.
* Relevant leadership qualification or willingness to undertake one.
Experience:
* Effective teaching with a proven record of raising attainment across ability groups.
* Experience in curriculum development sensitive to all children's needs.
Desirable experience includes involvement in whole-school or departmental development.
