Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
* Engaged in large regeneration schemes mainly constructed from reinforced concrete, smaller residential schemes using traditional techniques, and various commercial, educational, and maritime projects with diverse materials and construction methods.
* Undertake detailed structural engineering design on retail / commercial projects.
* Prepare technical schedules, reports, and designs at various project stages.
* Represent the company at meetings with clients, suppliers, and other third parties.
* Ensure excellent service delivery, meet design decisions, and adhere to deadlines and budgets.
* Possess strong knowledge of structural design using materials like traditional build, steel frame, reinforced concrete, and timber frames, especially for significant structures.
* Proficient in Tekla or alternative building modelling software.
