A prominent private equity-backed professional services firm, generating revenues of £400 million, is seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer to spearhead its ambitious growth strategy. With a clear objective to double in size prior to a forthcoming transaction—either an IPO or a secondary buyout—the company has embarked on a robust buy-and-build strategy, focusing on both acquisitive growth and international expansion.
Operating in 16 countries across EMEA and APAC, the firm is poised to extend its reach into the Americas, making this a pivotal moment for a finance leader who can navigate the complexities of rapid growth in diverse markets.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial management within a professional services context, alongside a track record of successfully leading financial strategy in high-growth environments. They will be instrumental in shaping the financial vision and strategy of the business, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and risk management as the company pursues its growth objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the finance function to deliver high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
* Developing and implementing financial strategies that support the company’s growth initiatives.
* Overseeing M&A activities, including due diligence and integration processes.
* Engaging with stakeholders, including private equity partners, to align financial goals with broader business objectives.
