ISA is the Infrastructure Strategic Alliance at Sellafield. There are currently 88 live projects within this alliance, with most taking flight in 2024. A strong, cohesive and robust team is required to assist with the effective delivery of the diversified projects within the ISA portfolio., We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Section Engineer on minor projects within the ISA's Logistics and Utilities portfolio. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and safely within the highly regulated environment of the Sellafield nuclear licensed site., + Collaboration & Planning: Liaise with Site Supervisor and Line Manager to ensure all setting out is conducted according to the three-week lookahead programme.
+ Equipment Maintenance: Conduct and record weekly checks on all setting out equipment.
+ Quality Assurance: Work with the Quality Assurance Engineer to arrange and perform all necessary quality inspections as per the Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
+ Documentation: Record and file all quality inspections and as-built surveys.
+ Technical Queries: Generate Technical Queries (TQs) as needed and submit them to the Line Manager before formal submission to the Design Team.
+ Drawing Management: Ensure the latest drawings are used on-site in the designated area of works.
+ Snag List Management: Address snag list items throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Safety Promotion: Promote the ISA Safety Culture and assist in the production of all Safety Systems of Work.
+ Daily Site Diaries: Maintain daily site diaries, recording plant, labour, materials, weather, delays, and performance-related issues.
+ Progress Monitoring: Track progress against the three-week programme and escalate any issues related to delays or re-sequencing of works.
+ Material Requisitions: Collaborate with Site Supervision to generate material requisitions and submit them for Line Manager approval.
+ Educational Background: Typically holding a degree or advanced vocational qualification in engineering.
+ Practical Experience: Relevant practical experience in engineering with an appreciation of other major disciplines.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Experience working in highly regulated environments, particularly within nuclear sites, is advantageous.
