At Apex Scotland, we work with individuals who have been involved in the justice system, supporting them to build brighter futures. From helping people find work or boosting their confidence and motivation, we’re here to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical solutions. What you’ll be doing: Managing a caseload of allocated participants within your service. Delivering appropriate and relevant casework that supports and reflects individual participant’s needs and circumstances. This includes the co-ordination of direct and indirect support in relation to their stage of the Apex Scotland Participant Journey. Supporting people with convictions to overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Offering one-to-one advice and group work. Connecting individuals with training, employment, and support services. Challenging stigma and advocating for second chances. Working collaboratively with other professionals and services. You might be a great fit if you: Have experience in supporting others – whether through work, volunteering, or personal experience. Are a great communicator who can build trust and motivate people. Have a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. Can think on your feet and adapt to different challenges. Believe in the potential for people to change. You will operate Edinburgh wide and is required to be mobile and operate in an outreach manner, with means of access to regular travel and movement throughout the area.
