Description About the role Working closely with the Valet Services Manager and overseeing nine depot Cleaning teams, the Supervisor will ensure that all services are delivered safely, in line with operating procedures, accreditation, polices and best practice; maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and reporting any potential issues impacting service delivery or operation. The Supervisor will oversee workforce allocation, ensuring effective service delivery including - reporting vacancies to the Valet Services Manager and supporting the recruitment & selection of new staff induction and management of probation periods for new employees ensuring safe working methods, competence and skills to undertake the tasks required together with sufficient knowledge of the client requirements identify training needs and refer to Valet Services Manager accurate recording of overtime and absence and leave to carry out return to work interviews ensuring the absence is recorded, referring to the Valet Services Manager where appropriate. to respond to emergencies when necessary, in respect of accident, failure, break-ins, vandalism, weather and other needs. The Supervisor will regularly visit all allocated depots, ensuring regular communication with Cleaners (especially lone workers) and ensure all sites have adequate materials and consumables. The post holder, working with the Valet Services Manager, will also seek innovation to increase productivity and drive efficiencies on the contract, continually strive to build good business relationships with the client and to respond to their needs and to market and actively promote Valet Services in order to secure opportunities to grow the business. About you To be successful, you will ideally demonstrate: a managerial qualification/ NVQ 4 or equivalent knowledge and experience of team management experience of contract management an understanding of financial management and control a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Quality Assurance procedures knowledge of tools and techniques for coaching and mentoring staff performance has detailed knowledge of tools and techniques for dealing with challenging behaviours Due to the requirement of this role needing to travel to and ebtween depots, a full UK driving license is essential (you will be provided a Corserv Vehicle for business use). This position is working 30 hours per week Tuesday - Saturday and will require the post holder to be flexible to work afternoons and evenings, with some occasional late night night finishes (at 1:30am).
