We are looking for an Operations Manager to provide leadership for our FIT Scheme, a crucial function in enabling our next-generation energy services. You will be accountable for meeting Ofgem regulatory requirements, overseeing compliance, and leading the team to achieve operational efficiencies. Your leadership will be key in managing end-to-end operations across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring accurate payments, compliant and efficient processes, and championing continuous improvement.
As the Feed-in Tariff Operations Manager within Generator Services, you will take the lead in managing the complete generator journey, reflecting our core values.
Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Lead FIT scheme management and administration at Good Energy, ensuring accurate and timely generator payments and reporting performance to senior leadership via KPIs.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure processes strictly adhere to Ofgem regulations, proactively identify improvements, and serve as the key contact for regulatory audits.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies to enhance FIT operations, aiming for excellent customer service, reduced errors, and streamlined administrative processes.
* Team Leadership: Manage and support FIT operations teams, conducting regular performance reviews to foster team and individual development.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Ofgem and customers, to drive innovative solutions, system improvements, and data-informed decisions.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor performance, track KPIs, and report timely, accurate, and relevant information to senior leadership to inform decisions and drive efficiencies.
What you'll need to succeed
Essentials
* Previous Operational Leadership and team management skills
* Strong knowledge of the Feed-in Tariff Scheme or the willingness and ability to learn this at speed.
* Ability to make decisions at pace and to identify challenges and implement effective solutions quickly.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders and understand customer needs
* Experience in streamlining process to improve operational efficiency.
* Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving strategies.
* Ability to interpret and analyse operational metrics to drive decision-making.
* Highly organised, able to prioritise and have exceptional attention to detail
* Work closely with data teams to provide high quality, quantitative information, to inform decisions and development in a way that is easily accessible and understood.
