The Job Role Details:
We are looking for an experienced Agricultural Engineer to work as part of a team to help maintain and repair a diverse range of machinery equipment. Based in Herefordshire, this role will suit a person who is looking for a challenge in a busy and diverse environment and is highly motivated, who can prioritise and schedule maintenance programmes. There is a requirement to be responsive to the needs of the everyday parts of the business, having expertise in a range of diverse white fleet type vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
* Implement repairs, services and breakdowns.
* Liaise with internal and external customers.
* Manage work priorities.
* Build a rapport with all departments of the business.
* Procure/fabricate parts or components (as necessary).
* Ensure that all work/maintenance is recorded and carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
* Schedule maintenance periods for all vehicle & mechanical equipment and maintain appropriate records.
* Assist with necessary compliance audits.
* Comply with HSE requirements.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
* An experienced Mechanic with heavy machinery engineering experience.
* Ideally have experience working on agricultural and / or construction machinery.
* Highly motivated.
* Able to work well as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
