The Growth Company’s (GC) Education and Skills team is seeking a Placement Consultant to deliver a comprehensive and high-quality work placement service. This role focuses on supporting employers, 16–23-year-old students, and trainees, facilitating meaningful placements that lead to employment opportunities and Apprenticeship uptake.

Key Responsibilities
* Continually create and refresh an extensive caseload of businesses that enable individual and company Work Placement targets to be met across all occupational areas.
* Carry out a professional and high-quality employer resourcing service.
* Identify all student needs regarding Work Placement and progression routes and provide effective solutions, accurately planning, tracking, and recording progress.
* Agree and set targets with students to ensure learning and performance targets are met and exceeded.
* Provide guidance, support, and training services to recently employed/placed individuals.
* Update company MI systems as required to log employer and student interactions.
* Comply with all Growth Company H&S and Safeguarding processes and procedures.
* Attend local Networking Forums to build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, raise awareness of the Growth Company Study Programme, and develop new and existing work placements.
About You
* Outstanding customer service standards and previous experience of Quality Systems.
* Ability to communicate and motivate young people and employers and to influence and build relationships.
* A professional manner at all times and must abide by all Growth Company policies and procedures.
* Flexible approach to work including hot-desking, local travel, out of hours working to match when students are on placement, and the ability to work in the local community.

* Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills to businesses at all levels.

* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, demonstrating personal resilience without constant direct supervision.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Current full UK Driving License and access to a car is a must; travelling expenses will be covered.
