Job Description
As a Specialist Asset Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a best-in-class approach to the sales strategy for our assets in possession or assets being managed in LPAR. Working closely with the Head of Recoveries, you will support live case management and upskill the wider team.
As a Specialist Asset Manager, we are looking for someone to:
* Be responsible for ensuring that our processes and approach to distressed asset sales via either open market or auction sales are optimised
* Take a proactive role in live case management, through regular reviews with Case Managers as to their sales strategy effectiveness; making recommendations and supporting decisions as required within the life of a case
* Liaise both with internal colleagues, directly with sales agents/auction houses or indirectly via receivers to drive towards the right outcome
* Own the data and reporting of asset sales performance into senior leadership forums and Credit Risk reporting committees, working closely with the 1st line Credit Risk team.
* Maintain a good network with external providers and feed into Panel review discussions/processes with regards receivers and agents.
Qualifications
Essential
* Background and experience in property market sale and / or auction sale processes to maximise asset values
* Experience of negotiating and challenging Estate agents, auction houses or LPA Receivers over their strategy and approach
* Strong & relevant property knowledge across all asset types, sectors and regions, ideally residential and commercial
* Strong stakeholder management; able to translate data into meaningful strategic updates and see the bigger picture
