Job title: Team Leader-Support Engineering (Product Configuration)
Location: Barrow In Furness, Brough, Filton- Onsite
Salary: £45,628+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Effectively manage a team of up to 8 engineers on a daily basis with a strong focus on training and personal development
* Managing, developing and leading your own team of engineers
* Establishment of procedures for monitoring and control of the PCM (Product Configuration Management) process
* Measurement and assessment of the PCM process effectiveness
* Identifying the configuration of selected work products that compose the baselines at given points in time
* Building and maintaining specifications to build work products from the configuration management system and deliver on deadlines to internal and external customers
* Including and providing accurate status and current configuration data to developers, end users, customers and stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Background in Engineering - Mechanical/Electrical
* Previous Product Configuration Management Experience
* Experience in team Management and Leadership
Desirable:
* Teamcenter experience
* Raytheon EAGLE experience
* Configuration Management Level 2 certification

The Support Engineering Product Configuration Team:
In this vibrant engineering team their key role is to collate, configure and manage all data articles that all assets on the submarine can use to provide life support to the end product. You will work closely with all Engineering teams, Supply Chain, Testing and Commissioning, the MOD and wider Integrated Combat Systems teams. This is a rapidly expanding team with a growing work scope and will provide you with opportunities to progress and develop yourself with BAE Systems.
