We're looking for a Google Cloud Systems Engineer in London.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you will deploy Google Distributed Cloud Hosted (GDCH) solutions at customer sites as well as internal reference deployments; you will build expertise in deploying and operating GDCH solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and resolution of Infrastructure issues (Network, Storage, Servers, OS, Kubernetes, etc.).
2. Interact with customers as well as internal development organizations in order to accomplish shared goals.
3. Participate in Customer, Partner, and Internal team Deployments and training which will require international travel.
4. Deliver train-the-trainer programs to equip Customers and Partners with the knowledge and skills to effectively conduct customer deployments.
5. Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
Required skills:
1. Experience with systems automation, and with systems design and implementation and technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting).
2. Experience with IaaS solutions (e.g., Kubernetes, system virtualization, on-premise or hybrid cloud computing) and cloud storage solutions (e.g., SQL database administration, Google App Engine, cloud networking solutions, or distributed computing technology).
3. Experience in TCP/IP and networking concepts (PXE boot, Subnets, VLANs, Jumbo Frames, LACP, NIC Teaming, Unicast/Broadcast/Multicast, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, SSH, etc.) and in one or more areas of infrastructure: Linux, Kubernetes, Networking, Storage, etc.
4. Experience as a Customer Solution Engineer.
5. Experience in scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.) to help with automation of routine tasks.
6. Experience in Site Reliability Engineer or IT production systems engineering.
7. Experience debugging/troubleshooting workload issues across multi-node environments, and with resolving P1 cases or incident management.
8. Understanding of physical server, storage and network devices.
9. Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to empathize with customers.
