We are very excited to be looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our friendly Neonatal team in Walsall. Whether you are looking for a friendly, supportive environment to start you neonatal career or an experienced nurse looking to develop, this is the job for you!
We want an enthusiastic practitioner who is eager to develop their assessment and communication skills, and increase their knowledge and clinical skills in neonatal care. In return you will be supported by our skilled senior nursing and medical team. Further training will be provide via BCU/Keele university in
1. Foundations in Neonatal care
2. Practise Focused Neonatal Intensive care course
You will be passionate about improving neonatal care and improving the experience of babies and their families in the neonatal unit.

Main duties of the job
Able to demonstrate effective clinical skills of a high quality, looking after special, high dependency and Intensive care babies.
Able to progress clinical skills and knowledge that will be acquired through post registration academic study.
Work with families to empower them to become partners in care for their baby.
Competent in administrating medications.
Maintaining high standards of Infection control and prevention.
Supervision of student nurses and midwives
Maintaining BFI standards
