Job Description for Front of House Team Member
Customers visit our café for various reasons, from hearty breakfasts to quick pickups. As a member of our Front of House team, your role is vital in providing excellent service, ensuring a welcoming environment, and maintaining food safety standards.
Your responsibilities include:
* Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
* Resolving customer complaints and communicating with the Café Manager.
* Managing stock with FIFO rotation to keep food fresh.
* Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining records.
* Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
* Following operational policies and procedures.
* Ensuring menu standards and product availability.
* Staying informed about business updates and initiatives.
* Knowing the café menu thoroughly and serving food as intended.
* Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
Requirements:
* Commitment to excellent customer service.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
* Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness.
