This is a fulltime, permanent post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday (8am-4pm). The base will be Royal Alexandra Hospital covering both the cardiology investigations service and the cardiology nurse-led service. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in initiating the electronic appointment system for the cardiology nurse-led service whilst helping the cardiac physiology service. The role involves providing an efficient and co-ordinated appointment service in accordance with the waiting list of patients attending the department, dealing with telephone enquiries and management of the reception desk. There is also a need to assist in outpatient clinic management with increase or cancellation of clinics, ensuring appropriate in accordance with staffing levels (with guidance from Cardiac Physiology Manager). The post holder will liaise with cardiac physiologists on a daily basis to ensure clinical prioritisation. Essential Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a hospital, patient-facing environment. Desirable Experience of hospital systems such as Trakcare and Clinical Portal. It is expected that applicants will be friendly, empathetic and enthusiastic.
