Deployment Engineer – Short-Term On-Site Project
Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire
Contract Duration: 1 Week (6th – 12th May 2025)
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (On-Site Only)
Day Rate: £130–£150 per day (Inside IR35)
We’re seeking a Deployment Engineer for a short-term, full-time contract supporting a high-profile end client in the public sector. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant tech refresh at a major government facility in Fleetwood.
Role Overview: As a Deployment Engineer, you'll be responsible for the safe de-installation and packaging of end-user IT equipment. You’ll be working on-site at a central government location and must follow structured processes with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* De-installation of IT equipment, including:
o 664 Lenovo docking stations with power cables
o 692 Dell monitors (including 28 dual-monitor setups)
o 664 keyboards
o 664 mice
o 664 USB-C to DisplayPort cables
o 664 securitisation locks
* Accurate logging and safe handling of all devices
* Secure packaging and staging for onward transportation
* Complying with building protocols and secure handling procedures
Requirements:
* Prior experience in IT deployment, decommissioning, or hardware refresh projects
* Comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
* Able to commit to working on-site for the full week
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions precisely
